The future of transportation is without a doubt electric. Congress has recognized the need to lead in the transition to a just and equitable transportation electrification future and has been in negotiations the past six months to capture the size and scope of this EV moment.
In early November, Congress passed the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) and is continuing to negotiate around the Build Back Better (BBB) Act. Policymakers at the state, city and local levels, along with businesses and EV advocates, are actively anticipating the final announcements on funding from the federal government on EVs and EV charging infrastructure. Join this webinar to understand what opportunities for EVs and EV charging infrastructure are in the IIJA, and what opportunities currently exist with the BBB Act.
This webinar will cover funding for the light-, medium- and heavy-duty sectors, including school buses and transit buses. Attendees will also gain a better understanding of the timing for final legislation.
This is the first webinar in a two-part series. The second webinar will be held the end of January.
Speakers to include: Agency reps from DOT, DOE and EPA.
Moderation and facilitation by: Katherine Stainken (EC), Anne Blair (EC) and Alex Hutkin (SAFE).
