Ohio EPA filed the state’s Beneficiary Mitigation Plan with the VW trustee on May 31, 2018 and released the first Request for Proposals on June 4, 2018 for on-road and off-road equipment projects.
Grant applications are due no later than 3:00 p.m. on August 3, 2018, and must be submitted through an online application form.
Ohio EPA will be reaching out to stakeholders in designated priority counties during the summer and fall of 2018 to develop a prioritized list of sites for charging stations for light-duty vehicles.
The first Request for Proposals for installation of EV charging stations is expected to be released in early 2019.
