This event focuses on grants and incentives available for commercial fleets, public and private, that are eligible for grants from the Nevada Division of Environmental Protection (NDEP), to reduce emissions (details on NDEP’s program below.) We’ll also examine incentives that are part of the Public Utility Commission of Nevada’s (PUCN) docket that is implementing state legislation passed in 2017 to accelerate the installation of electric vehicle charging infrastructure. There will be an overview of the benefits of electric transportation to Nevada, including economic in addition to improved air quality.
This workshop should be of particular interest to school districts and truck fleet operators. However, electric transportation advocates, policy makers, and all businesses and public interested in seeing reduced emissions and improved air quality.
