The Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality (OK DEQ) is hosting a webinar on the Alternative Fuel School Bus Program through the VW Settlement and the Clean Diesel Program through the Diesel Emissions Reduction Act (DERA). Register for the webinar here.
The OK DEQ is now accepting applications for the Alternative Fuel School Bus Program. The Alternative Fuel School Bus Program, funded by the Volkswagen State Environmental Mitigation Trust, will offer approximately $4.1 million toward alternative fuel school bus projects in Oklahoma. Applications are due on or before December 3, 2018.
DEQ is also announcing a separate funding opportunity under the Clean Diesel (DERA) program toward the installation of exhaust control retrofits on a variety of vehicles, and diesel or gasoline school bus replacements.
