On July 17, 2019 the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) released its draft mitigation plan. Florida’s plan for spending its $166.28 million share of the Environmental Mitigation Trust is the last draft plan of the 50 states and Washington, DC to be released. The department allocated the maximum 15% of funds to Light-Duty EVSE while allocating the remaining funds to DERA projects and school, shuttle, and transit buses (see below).
The Florida DEP is accepting public comments on their Draft Mitigation Plan through August 16th at 5pm. All comments must be submitted via email to VWMitigation@FloridaDEP.gov.
