The Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP) has released a Request for Information (RFI) in order to collect feedback from stakeholders and concerned persons regarding the VW settlement. MassDEP is still in the process of drafting a mitigation plan that will propose how to allocate the nearly $75 Million available to Massachusetts as the result of the VW settlement.
MassDEP will accept written comments and feedback on the plan through 5:00 pm May 18, 2018. Comments must be submitted through the MassDEP survey form
