The Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) has scheduled three meetings to garner input from the public on the state’s proposed mitigation plan that will spend $9.8 Million in funds allocated to the state from the Volkswagen Diesel Settlement.
MDEQ has also developed a fillable PDF web-based form to allow interested stakeholders to submit comments regarding the state’s utilization of environmental mitigation trust fund monies associated with the VW diesel settlement.
The MDEQ will be accepting public comment through May 18, 2018.
