North Carolina has been allocated $92 million in Volkswagen settlement money to reduce air pollution from mobile sources. Through a Request for Information (RFI), the N.C. Division of Air Quality (DAQ) in the N.C. Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) seeks public input on how the funds should be used to reduce pollution. All comments are due by December 31, 2017.
