Missouri’s public comment period on its use of the VW Settlement Funds has brought together electric utilities and environmental advocates.
The Missouri Electric Vehicle Collaborative, a group of utilities and environmental groups, proposed to use $35 million of the state’s settlement funds to replace diesel engines with electric technology in school buses, mass transit buses and material handling equipment like forklifts.
