Following up on our meeting yesterday, we just found out that the court appointed the VW Settlement Trustee. On March 15, Wilmington Trust was officially appointed by the court as the Trustee of the Environmental Mitigation Trust.

Once the court establishes the Trust Effective Date, states will have 60 days to submit their Certification for Beneficiary Status.
