The work presented in this report was undertaken by Ecology Action with funding from a Silicon Valley Clean Energy (SVCE) Innovation Onramp grant to demonstrate a low-cost “direct-installation” (DI) delivery model for deploying multi-family EV charging that is aimed at addressing the unacceptable trend of disparity in EV ownership between single-family and multi-family residents. The project was undertaken as part of SVCE’s commitment to promoting equity among its customers and stimulating rapid growth in EV ownership among multi-family tenants.
